Stefanie Powers (born Stefania Zofia Federkiewicz[1] on November 2, 1942) is an American actress and singer, who starred as Jennifer Hart, in the 1980s crime drama, Hart to Hart. For her contribution to the television industry, Powers has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6778 Hollywood Blvd.

Powers was married to actor Gary Lockwood between 1966 and 1972. She had a relationship with actor William Holden that led to their being involved with wildlife conservation. Following his death in 1981, Powers became President of the William Holden Wildlife Foundation and a director of the Mount Kenya Game Ranch in Kenya. In the United States, she works with both the Cincinnati and Atlanta zoos. She devotes a great deal of time to the cause and is international guest speaker on wildlife preservation.

On April 1, 1993 she married a somewhat younger French aristocrat, Patrick Houitte de la Chesnais, but they divorced in 1999. Powers has no children.

An outstanding polo player, along with Canadian retailing magnate Galen Weston and Thoroughbred owner/breeder Henryk de Kwiatkowski, Stefanie Powers was among the first foreign members of the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club in the United Kingdom, whose membership includes HRH The Prince of Wales. In 2005, she competed in the Joules United Kingdom National Women's Championships at Ascot.

Famed NFL quarterback Steve McNair was found dead today in Tennessee, alongside him was 20-year-old Saleh Kazemi, both suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Ever since reports hit of Steve McNair’s death, searches for pics and video of Saleh Kazemi or (Sahel Kazemi) have flooded the Internet, and we’ve got them here.

According to reports, Saleh Kazemi and Steve McNair had a relationship that could be described as dating, even though McNair is married, and Saleh Kazemi has a boyfriend named Keith. Some believe the circumstances of their deaths point to a murder suicide, but officials have yet to confirm it.

The pistol that was allegedly used in the killings was found under Saleh Kazemi’s body. She had a fatal gunshot wound to the head, and Steve McNair had four bullet wounds; two in the head and two in his body.

Saleh Kazemi’s sister told the Florida Times-Union that McNair had planned to leave his wife so that he and Saleh may be together. Apparently McNair and his wife had already been living separately. Saleh’s sister also describes her as “independent, outgoing, and very strong.”

Robert S. McNamara, the former secretary of defense whos a leading executive of industry was all but erased from public memory by his reputation as the architect of U.S. involvement in the war in Vietnam, died early this morning at age 93 at his home in Northwest Washington

McNamara was secretary of defense during the presidencies of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. In that capacity he directed a U.S. military buildup in Southeast Asia during the critical early years of a Vietnamese conflict that escalated into one of the most divisive and bitter wars in U.S. history.For 13 years after he left the Pentagon in 1968, he was president of the World Bank. He was said to have built a record of achievement and dedication in business, government and public service that few of his generation could match.

In his 1995 memoir of the war, "In Retrospect: The Tragedy and Lessons of Vietnam," McNamara said he and his senior colleagues were "wrong, terribly wrong" to pursue the war as they did.

He elaborated on Vietnam and the other events that shaped his life in Errol Morris's Academy Award-winning documentary "The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara" (2003). "We burned to death 100,000 Japanese civilians in Tokyo -- men, women and children," he told Morris. "LeMay recognized that what he was doing would be thought immoral if his side has lost," he added. "But what makes it immoral if you lose and not immoral if you win?"

At the Pentagon, he reorganized the military bureaucracy, built up the country's nuclear arsenal and instigated a massive campaign to end racial discrimination in off-base housing. At the World Bank, he was often described as "the conscience of the West," for his relentless efforts to persuade the industrialized world to commit more capital to improving life in the have-not nations. As secretary of defense, he was a key figure in such major crises as the Bay of Pigs fiasco and the Cuban missile confrontation with the Soviet Union.

All in all, he was a great man. Worthy of his stature.
